                                                   “This murtherous Shaft that’s shot,
                                                     Hath not yet lighted: and our safest way,
                                                     Is to avoid the ayme . . . when there’s no mercie left.”

Macbeth, 2.3. 916 – 921

[ Note:  the last two lines of the above speech, as well as of the scene itself, has a word-count Signature ]:    

                                                  “But shift away: there’s warrant in that Theft,
Which steales it selfe, when there’s no mercie left.”
